Your Macto Account: Identity Verification & Address Wallet

Macto One AI powers many independent stores. If you shop at more than one Macto-powered store, we offer an optional way to avoid re-typing your delivery address every time: a single verified Macto Customer identity and, if you choose, a reusable address wallet.

What verification does — and does not — mean

When you enter your mobile number or email at checkout and confirm the one-time code (OTP) we send you, we are only confirming that you own that mobile number or email address. Verifying your identity never by itself gives Macto, or any store, permission to reuse your saved addresses elsewhere. That permission is a separate choice you make explicitly, described below.

Address-reuse consent is separate, explicit, and reversible

Before your saved addresses can ever be offered at a second store, you must actively check a box that reads "Allow Macto to reuse my saved addresses across participating stores." We never pre-select this for you. You can turn it off again at any time from your account's Macto Wallet page — turning it off does not delete your saved addresses, and does not change any order you've already placed; it only stops those addresses from being offered to other stores going forward. You can turn it back on later if you change your mind.

What a store actually receives

No store — including the one where you first saved an address — can browse your full address book or your order history at other stores. When you pick a saved address at checkout, we share only that one address (name, phone, and delivery details) with that specific store, for that specific order. We keep a record of exactly when and to which store an address was shared, so this can always be reviewed if you have a question about it.

You are always in control

You can, at any time, from your account's Macto Wallet page:

Changing a saved address never rewrites past orders

Every order keeps a permanent copy of the exact address you used to place it. If you later edit or delete that saved address, your past orders and their delivery records stay exactly as they were.
